Irvington has a new theatre troupe, Eclectic Pond. Their first production in Irvington, Shakespeare's, "A Midsummer Night's Dream", begins on February 9th at the Irvington Lodge. For more information, visit their web site. LINK

On Saturday, January 7, 2012, Irvington-based musicians, Violet Skies, performed at Lazy Daze Coffee House. The show also featured their friends, Joe Harris, Emily Myren and Katie McInerny. Their self-penned songs include wonderful harmony/background vocals..
Violet Skies makes a return appearance to Lazy Daze Coffee House on March 9th.

Emily Schenkenfelder (the creator of the logo we use on our Facebook page), is currently a displaying artist at the Indiana University Herron School Of Art And Design exhibition, "Pedagogy: Those Who Can Teach" in the Frank & Katrina Basile Gallery at Eskenazi Hall on the IUPUI campus. The show runs through February 2, 2012; it is planned that the exhibition will later be repeated at Ben Davis High School.
