MICHAEL MALONEY

 

Michael Maloney has been acting since he was 10-years-old, when he played Harlan Day in “Life With Father” at Indiana University’s Brown County Playhouse.

Over the past several years, Maloney has played in shows from melodramas to Shakespeare. As a member of the Garfield Shakespeare Company, he portrayed Egeus in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and Lord Capulet in “Romeo and Juliet”. Other roles include the Judge in “Inherit The Wind” with the Epilogue Players and the Foreman in “12 Angry Men” with the Spotlight Players, which won two Encore Awards (Best Ensemble Cast and Best Production Of A Drama).

In 1994, Maloney was in an educational video with the late Walter Cronkite about mood disorders, “Everyone Needs A Hand To Hold Onto”.
