Paul Diebold is the author of one of the definitive books about Irvington, Greater Irvington – Architecture, People And Places On The Indianapolis Eastside.

It is available at the Irvington Branch of the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library. It may also be purchased at the Irvington Historical Society offices.

In addition to being a wonderful resource for both the history of Irvington and documenting examples of the many architectural styles represented here (including many historic photos), his book includes a forward by former Irvington resident, and long-time WRTV news anchor, Howard Caldwell.

Mr. Diebold holds a B.F.A. in Art History from Herron School Of Art And Design and a M.S. in Historic Preservation from Ball State University. Paul works for the Indiana Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology as a reviewer and documenter of historic buildings.
